Consistent Participation: To be eligible, nominees should have participated in at least 50 percent of the games played over two years or two seasons. This criterion highlights their consistent involvement and contribution to the team's endeavors.

Exemplary Character: Nominees must have demonstrated outstanding qualities of moral character and integrity throughout their time at Dillard University. Their behavior both on and off the field reflects the university's core values.

Nomination Process and Considerations:

The Board of Directors carefully reviews the nominations, ensuring that the selected recipients exemplify the essence of the Bleu Flame Awards.
Nominees who are not selected for induction in a given year will remain eligible for future consideration. This ensures that each nominee has the opportunity to be recognized for their exceptional contributions, even if not immediately inducted. Unsuccessful nominees can be re-nominated after a waiting period of one year.
